April already??!!

I can't believe it is already April!! I guess we have just had plenty to keep us busy, time flys when your having fun right?? Here are some of the fun things that we have been up to...

SNOW

Stu got to play in the snow a grand total of 4 times this year. Everytime it snowed we stopped everything to go play since I knew it wouldn't last long!

 

This was when we were in Idaho. Stu got the honor of wearing the Raiders snow suit!!

 

EATING!!!

Stu has finally decided that it is ok to eat what we have for dinner.

We went with some friends to this fun place. Stu loved it!! I thought there was NO way he would even think about going up the big slide and sliding down, but I before he realized what he was doing he climbed up and went down! ...It was really fast, he wouldn't do it again! (:

Jazz Game

Mike's work has season tickets to the jazz games and we have been lucky enough to go to a bunch of them! 

Ali & Christina - The Same Way

Mike grew up with these two girls! They made it to the top 10 at America's Got Talent and are now using there amazing talent and power to teach valuable lessons.

Happy St. Patricks Day!!

With all of the fun holiday things online{Pinterest} I knew that we were going to have to do something fun for St. Patricks Day! 

We had a yummy green breakfast/lunch.

And then my sister and her family came for dinner, corned beef and cabbage, of course!!

(That took a VERY long time!)

Stu was VERY impressed with the jello, it was quite the process for him to figure out the best way to eat it!

AND THEN, Nate and Mike went to a Jazz game and we went swimming!! It was sure fun! We are so glad that we have Lydia and Nate and Sarah and Ty ty so close!

_ Baby Boy #2 _

I can't believe how big my little Stu is.. (and even more that we will have another little boy soon too!) He has so much personality and many opinions on how he wants things to be! As you can see in this picture!! I love his little attitude! (most of the time)

-He sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the ABC'S all by himself (his version of course)

- He LOVES toast

-He will eat chicken nuggets, french fries and ketchup anytime of day, and asks when we go somewhere to eat if they have all three of those things! They ARE neccessities.

- He loves animals and can say all of their sounds including a Rhino, who sounds like..... I don't really know.

- He loves to read books and color

-He loves Elmo, Thomas the Train and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

-He does really well in nursery, and always eats things there that he will not eat at home..

-He likes to play by himself and is VERY particular when playing. Everything gets lined up just right!

Today marks 1 week of NO BINKY'S at our house!!! The first day that I told him it was broken and that he can't have it anymore I felt so bad taking away one of his favorite things, it is sad to realize how big he is. I can't believe that we have had him with us for 2 whole years!!

Yes, we are pretty sure ^^ that it is a boy!!

It's about time I posted something on here about our new little boy addition!  We are very excited to have another little buddy around here soon. I can't wait to see what Stu thinks. We tell him all of the time about the baby in Mom's tummy and he just looks around to see a baby somewhere... But more and more the word baby has been coming up in his half-understandable language so I think he has an idea of what is about to come!! 

I have realized being pregnant this time that I didn't take ANY pictures of myself pregnant with Stu... I was not (still not) a fan of belly pictures but now I wish I could go back and remember how it was the first time. I can't remember hardly anything about being pregnant before. So, this time I have taken some pictures and plan to document things a little better.

- BABY BOY #2 at 24 weeks -

Of course I can't do anything with out a little help from Stu!! He had to brush his teeth since we were in the bathroom.

I LOVE this cute face!! Can't wait to see what the next one looks like.

--Belated-- Valentines Dinner

On Valentines day I woke up with the flu... Of course! Every other day of the week I force myself to get up and do something with Stu {because I am pregnant and tired} and the day that I had A LOT planned to do I got sick... But, thank goodness Mike was very sweet and worked from home to take care of Stu. 

Luckily we went out to dinner Monday night so we had sort of celebrated Vday, but since it SO hard to think of things to do for boys on Vday {Mike could literally not care LESS about the holiday. "it is just for girls" he says} I was going to make a nice dinner anyways.

Well I made it work and finally made our romantic -late- Valentines dinner last night! He was surprised at least!!

One really great thing about doing Vday after Vday is I found this sweet deal at Smith's the day after!

Yes that says $4.00!!! They really made the table PERFECT!

So I set up this ^^^ romantic table for us and this one for Stu... 

Don't worry he got a new movie for his Valentines day present {Open Season from the $7 Blu ray bin!!} and his favorite= dinosaur chicken nuggets and a banana! He really did not mind that we semi-ignored him for a bit. I think I may have qualified for best wife and best mom {in Stu's mind only} all in the same night. (:

 I got lucky with Mike's Valentines present this year. The dinner was going to be his present until he mentioned a couple days ago that he would really like a basketball! Perfect! I love present suggestions.

Also, found these cute salsa bowls at walmart that were just perfect for the homemade salsa that I made to go with these fish tacos. They were delicious!

And, last but very much not least... The flowers that Mike got me!!! I LOVE THEM!!

Hope you all had a great Vday. Early, late or on time it is all the same when you are with the person you love! 

Now we are off to Idaho to see the rest of the people we love for presidents day weekend!! {Minus - Talon, Natalie and Lila of course} 

~Cookies~

Last Sunday I decided that we needed to make cookies! {meaning: I wanted chocolate, and I had nothing.. the person that I KNOW would have some [my mom] is 3 hours away..} So Stu and I got busy making some yummy chocolate peanut butter cookies!!

 **I had some music on so this is his cookie dough eating dance!**

 No, I did not get any pictures of the finished product... at the rate he was eating the cookie dough I was glad to get any cooked! But they were YUMMY!

It is SO fun that Stu is getting big enough to be my little helper! Most things are accompanied by his version of "I can do it myself" {the kind that only the mom can understand!} I love my little buddy!
