Blessing

Stu was blessed on Sunday! It was such a wonderful day. I didn't really expect much or know what to expect when blessing your child but it was special! Mike did a great job and gave him a great blessing. I feel so blessed to have a sweet boy that is is mine forever and to be in a church where we are able to have special experiences like little baby blessings!

Super Bowl Party

Mike likes football and since we have been married a lot of football as been added to my T.V. watching experience, so I have learned kind of what is going on and I do enjoy it for about the last 30 mins!! ..I like to see who wins, and usually all of the cool stuff happens at the end when the guys are getting desperate!
This year I knew we would be watching the super bowl and so I had to think of something to make it more interesting for myself. So I proposed that we invite Lydia and Nate over! It was a great idea! I gave Nate a coupon for his birthday inviting him to our Super Bowl Party!! It turned out so fun! Talon and Natalie just happened to be down here that weekend and Kjel and Ben had a ballroom competition so they all came too and It became a real party and was tons of fun in our little apartment!

Like three seconds earlier Sarah was not there...But apparently she wanted to be so she smooshed herself in!!

These are the super cute football brownies that Lydia found! Perfect for the super bowl!

We had lots of yummy food! Me and Mike love watching the food channel and like to try knew things so we made a really yummy BLT guacamole dip and even yummier (because I love artichokes!) Spinach Artichoke dip! So good!

A Series of Events

I just had to put these up. I think they are so funny and cute! Stu wasn't quite in love with the bumbo yet but we tried it out anyways during dinner one day and...well here is what happened!

Busy, busy

The last couple of weeks I feel like I have been going a hundred miles an hour and now I look back and I guess I didn't really do a ton!! We did get to go home to Rexburg two weekends in a row... Mike had a long weekend Valentines day weekend so we went and then last Sunday we went up to bless Stu! I guess just the in between unpacking just in time to pack again was tiring..and I've heard people say that you feel like you don't get anything done with your first baby! Well that is definitely true for me. On the days that Stu takes a bath and I take a shower I'm not ready for the day until usually 11:00 and then he is awake again to eat! So needless to say I very much admire people like my Mom who can do 20 things at a time! Hopefully someday I will get there!

Now that Stu is asleep and I have a moment to blog I have a bunch of old pictures that I am going to try to put up as fast as I can!
