2 whole years!
This sunday was our 2 year anniversary! I can't believe it has already been two years, but it does seem like a long time ago that we got married. It's been so fun! I also realized that we have been married as long as a mission and missions have always seemed long to me. Kinda crazy!
Mike has been planning something special for sat. night for a while and he nailed it!! Lydia came and watched Stu and we went to the Salt Lake Temple and then to dinner! It was really nice to go to the Temple, it is not always easy planning a time to go and finding a babysitter. Thanks Lydia!! Then dinner...ok not just dinner, we went to dinner at the Grand American Hotel in their Garden Cafe! It was VERY fancy, as we walked in people were pulling in and having their cars parked by valets, (as we parked in a parking lot with a broken parking meter...which we found out was broken after we paid!!) everyone was dressed up in beautiful fancy outfits! I told Mike good thing we had gone to the temple so that we were dressed up but of course he was way ahead of me, he planned it that way! We had lots of very good food! I think that was the first time I actually got a menu that had "food network" language! Not that I knew what everything meant. It was fun and SO so good!! Mike got an +A on this years anniversary!
This has been an amazing two years! Not often enough do I realize how lucky I am. I am 21 and I have a wonderful husband and the cutest baby ever! We have been so blessed!

ReplyDeleteThis is so elegant! How fun to celebrate at the temple and a very nice restaurant. You both deserve the best!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for both of you. I think you both got one of the best people in the world for a spouse and Clarissa you got the World Best Mother-in-law. In my eyes she is nearly perfest!
