Curly Hair

I think it is officially safe to say that Stu will have curly hair. I never doughted that he would because of his Dad's hair but it was pretty straight all of the time, so we were just waiting!
His hair is kind of weird though, It is only curly sometimes. It gets semi-curly, (more like hat hair) when he sweats or has a hat on. But today he was laying on our bed and started crying so I went over to pick him up and found a nice big wet spot where he had spit up!! Then after I picked him up I saw that his hair was all wet and way curly like this! Then I gave him a bath and tried to make his hair curly again and it wouldn't. Who would have known, spit up is the best gel!!

Stu's getting big

We went to the doctor on Tuesday and Stu weighs 7 lbs. 17.5 oz. so pretty much he weighs 8 lbs.!! The last time we had gone in he weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz. Yeah Stu! He is growing so big!
I decided that he needed some knew pictures on here since he looks a lot different already, so here they are few!

Stu's favorite binky from..guess who?? Grandpa Jones!

New Years

So Mike found out on Monday that he got the Thursday and Friday before New Years off, not just Friday. Since we have tons of friends here in Utah it was a really hard decision to decide to go to Idaho. NOT! My Dad and brothers and sister hadn't met Stuart yet so we thought we would surprise them. But, Everyone was kinda sick so I ended up having to call and tell my mom to see how everyone was doing and see if we should still bring Stu to all of the sicklings. Of course she was very excited for us to come so we did!
We went to Mike's parents for the first couple of days and they didn't know we were coming so it was a surprise! Lisa got the worst of the surprise when Mike scared her coming into the door from the adventure center...she started crying!! Poor Lisa has such a mean big brother! We hung out with them all day and it was so much fun! We had shrimp for New Years Eve dinner which just happens to be the same thing that we had for New Years Eve last year too so we have a new little tradition without even thinking about it! On Friday Ida, Lisa and I made these cute word blocks that Ida had started at her sister party. She is so nice to always make a set of all of the cute things they do for me and then one for Jeff's "mystery women"!
Then we went up to Rexburg where everyone was recovering from their colds, but that didn't stop them from going sledding behind the Dad's car! I think they had 5 ropes tied behind Dad's car and he would pull them around the church parking lot! Luckily no one lost any teeth...so far! It was so fun to be home even just for the weekend everyone gets so much bigger everytime we go back. Joe looked bigger, Jake looked taller and Kjel got his patriarchal blessing! Thanks for having us families!

(Yes I forgot to take my camera so no pictures!)

Christmas

We had lots of fun this year for Christmas. Since Stu was so little and I wasn't in the mood to go anywhere Mike's family came to us! They came on Christmas eve and we watched Star Trek, (which is a wonderful movie! I have always made fun of my Mom for LOVING it because she is probably the #1 fan, but I take it all back that show is awesome!) They stayed at a hotel down the road and had a wonderful nights sleep!! (or not so wonderful on account of someone snoring, so I hear!!(;) Mike made us a nice big breakfast Christmas morning which we ate at like 11 o'clock since there were no little kids to go crazy about opening presents! It was so much fun to have them with us! We would have had a very uneventful Christmas just the three of us if they hadn't come!! Thanks Ryan's for a fun, fun Christmas!!

All of the boys!!

Grandma Jones gave Stu this cute Santa outfit and Lisa topped it off with the Santa hat!! Stu liked it...most of the time!

We we're blessed to get so many great gifts this year! But I think that Lisa got by far the best gift of all! She got not one, but two Snuggies!! She was very excited so I had to get a picture of her in on of them! Very cute Lisa!!

Stu's Christmas PJ's! Thanks Grandma Jones!
